This is our first website dedicated to helping the public understand how we operate and what to expect when interacting with our courts across Belize. This website reflects our commitment to improving the accessibility and efficiency of the Magistrate Courts. In an age of digitization, we acknowledge the demand for information to be readily available.
While we do not yet feature e-filing, this site serves as a core resource for unrepresented litigants, addressing frequently asked questions regarding bail, court attendance, lodging civil suits and more.
To manage our heavy case-loads efficiently, we have modernized our internal procedures. By implementing case management for trial scheduling, accommodating virtual hearings, and investing in new technology, we strive to minimize delays and provide a more accessible, user-friendly experience.
